Watch this music video from @thestrokes "The Adults Are Talking” that was filmed at Starr Street Studio 10. It's the first track on The Strokes’ 2020 album ‘The New Abnormal’.

The Strokes say that it's not their fault that they blame society's issues on the higher classes, or "commons." Higher-ups on the social ladder are chastised by the singer. In certain parts of the song, he refers to politicians, while in others, he refers to corporate executives. The grownups are referring to a dialogue between two or more persons in the title. They hide it from a third party because they have an interesting belief: that the third party is inferior in some way.
